I am an elusive blue monarch 

Fluttering about on hopes and wishes

Without you to share my dreams

So much potential and inspiration

Wasted on endless lonely night fears

Bleeding tears of pain and isolation

A fragment of beauty tossed by the wind

Uttered cries cold misunderstood

Struggling, battling, alone

A shimmer of light glistens down,

A flash of hope of a sparkling new day,
