Good Friends
Are something rare precious,
Unique and unusual…
They stick around no matter the weather,
They show up when you least expect it,
They know your quirks and flaws, and are still amazed by you,
They in turn inspire you…
Keep good friends old and new,
Nurture them when you can, and tend them when you think of them.
Life has family you have, family you find, and family you create,
Keep all your family in your heart,
And grow your future bright…

Flashes of traumas I can’t control
Get stuck like a skip in a song on a scratched record
Scars I can’t remove from my mind
Replaying without my permission
Some think you can cure this,
It is called remission,
Remission is not a cure
Relapses still occur
You have no say or choice
You pray, you persist, you fight, you scream,
When all you need is a reassuring compassion,
A silly distraction, a bit of fun, a moment’s inspiration of something new,
A simple hug,
Support is sometimes a distant long lost friend,
But what is lost is found
You put out gratitude
Fight positively, but embrace emotion
Try not to repress and pray to heal
Is love a cure for the uncureable?
Faith is a flexible long lasting glue
I pray, anyone who understands
Finds the comfort they need
In a good solid friend
Brighter joyful tomorrows do exist,
And nightmares must fade like shadows in the light
Shine bright! For Now is Dawn!

I am an Orion of shadows,
A falconer for souls,
A redeemer of forgiveness,
A sanctuary for the Damned,
Those lost souls and hearts,
That still shine true,
Beloved in this nature,
Despite their actions and appearance
All life is sacred
All that is sacred is saved
Protected, loved, and cherished
All light, even shadow matter
In balance of the cosmos,
Shining in the dark
You are seen, you are wanted, you matter,
Always…

There are places that hold memories,
And beauties that are of Grace
Of family, of love, of hope and song
Places that inspire
And lost in time
Lands of Grace
That are blessed in love
Land that speaks and reminds us,
That Grace is forever
Land that shows us love does exist
Sometimes these places are memories,
Sometimes these places are imagined,
Sometimes we find land of our own,
Sometimes we inherit it,
Sometimes our land is in heaven,
But Grace always exists
May magic of Grace always bless our lives and hearts
Our memories of love and song
In blessed lands only Grace can
Illustrate, and in our hearts and spirits with peace
Forever remembered
